Many years ago I had a bar of soap from Lush :)eek:) that I used in the gym for hair and body.
I priced it recently and not only do I not really care for Lush itself (the shops stink, the soaps generally don't I find!), the soap was £8~ plus the tin at £2~!
Any one use an all in one soap that is reasonbly priced.
Something tea tree/lemon etc...?

I have to admit I haven't used shampoo on my hair in years. Fair enough I keep my hair short and my hair is thinning a little. I use the same bar soap I use on my body. My hair is soft I don't have greasy hair or dandruff. Soap varies from Imperial Leather, Loccataine, Valobra etc.

I did try the Lush bar shampoo a few years ago, I found it didn't last very long though.

Badedas shower gel great stuff, its surprising how many skin issues arise from using a shampoo in conjunction with a soap. It's not a matter of product necessarily but movement of dirt that results in its removal. This is separate from antibacterial body products which I don't use when showering.

Anyway enough of the boring stuff, Badedas is my favourite.

Not boring at all, I expect you see and hear a lot in your line of work.

I usually use L'Occitane bars which are quite gentle on the skin and smell nice, they are around £4-£5 and last 4-6 weeks of daily showering. Recently received a Wickhams bath soap which performed equally well, had a much stronger scent but didn't last as long (not milled.) I also really enjoy Mitchell's wool fat bath soap, seriously good stuff and cheap too but just smells of soap so perhaps not what you're looking for.

I use Alvarez Gomez and Badedas shower gels but had a quick Google and found this website.
Like I said I can't vouch for them but I like the website.

Edit: Their travel bar is shampoo and shower soap.

Imperial Leather now contains SLS and is cheaply made in Thailand.

Many toiletries are (and have been) made overseas for years. As well:

“There's no evidence to suggest that sodium lauryl sulfate causes cancer—so there's no need to stop using shampoo,” said Nicola Smith, Health Information Officer at Cancer Research U.K. Cosmetics are under tight regulation in Europe and have to be shown to be safe before they can be sold. Unfortunately there are a lot of unfounded rumors on the internet about cosmetics causing cancer but they simply aren't backed up by convincing scientific evidence.”

IMO, the best smelling body soap is:

I am not worried about SLS causing cancer, it's the dermatological skin conditions it exacerbates such as Eczema, Psoriasis, Rosacea, and Dermatitis.

The Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) issued a Drug Safety Update for Aqueous Cream on 27 March 2013.

The MHRA is the government agency, which is responsible for ensuring that medicines and medical devices work, and are acceptably safe. The MHRA have issued an official warning that Aqueous cream may cause skin irritation, particularly in children with eczema, possibly due to sodium lauryl sulfate (SLS), which is a known skin irritant.

Maybe it's best that you not bathe.
The following all produce SLS/SLES free Savon de Marseille liquid:

La Maison du Soin Marseille - Beaute de Provence. La Cite du Soin - Savonnier de Provence/Le Manufacturer en Provence. La Maison de Savon de Marseille. LCDP Terra Provence. A La Maison de Provence. Beau Terre.

There are excellent soaps from France, Portugal and the UK. That use Shea Butter and Sweet Almond oil. There is no need for cheap SLS or cheap labour crap. As well as my usual Castelbel soap, I am currently enjoying Made in England Pink Grapefruit soap from Christina May :).
