Had to do it :-(

I have two Gold dollars, i got them both on ebay together for next to nothing, they are both excellent shavers, one i just keep in my travel kit, no big dramas if it's lost or confiscated, and the other i ground down to a square point and made some nicer ash wood scales for, for little projects they can't be beat and they do hold a bloody good edge.

Some of the Current Gold Dollars Like the Gold Dollar Classic for Example are Ground as Well as Current Solingen Razors Like Dovo Etc...They have Upped the Mark on the General Quality & Quality Control of their Razors....No Doubt about that...And Yeah they Have a Very Robust Shaving Edge...Good Steel... Republic of Scotland? I think you mean the Cul-de-Sac of Scotland!

I prefer the model 208, little more expensive but less work to get it flat on the hone
