Gillette Sensor Excel

I know, i know cartridge razor and all that.....

You guys may know this, but.....If you do use one, Asda are selling them for £4.60 with 3 blades, if you then buy the Asda own brand "Twin Blade Shaving System" cartridges (1.60 for 6) they fit perfectly

The Sensor they sell is not the normal one...maybe for a different market:

for what it's worth chaps, Gillette's Sensor is the best of the cartridge razors you can get.
i've tried Sensor, M3, Aldi's own, Lidl's own etc and for me this is the best of the lot, the head pivots and it only has 2 blades.

the difference between the normal Sensor and the Excel is the lubricating strip on the latter

Aye, I'm with you on that. The Sensor was my weapon of choice for many years; give the triple blade cartridges they later released for the Sensor a miss though - they're rubbish.

I didn't care for the ASDA blades, they seemed a bit rough / blunt. The sensor blades work ok but I prefer an injector for a fixed angle shaver.
