Gillette Sensor & Any Other Suitable 2 Blade Cartridges

Hello
I am new and appologies if this subject has been covered before.
For many years I used the Gillette Sensor Cartridge system. I found that I got an excellent shave and als did all the very awkward bits with no cuts. I coupled this with the Gillette Sensitive Gel. I found the shave to be very quick and good.

I now believe that you just cannot get the Sensitive Cartridges anymore (not the Sensor Excell, which in my opinion is nowhere near as good as the Sensor).

Does anyone know if there are any double cartridges on the market that are as good as the Sensor, which happen to fit the Sensor Handle. I noticed the other day that Gillette are now selling a double blade throwaway with a swivel head and think this may be woth a try. I was also interested in Boab's report on a double blade disposable by Feather, but I believe that they may only be available in Japan.

Any thoughts or advice would be greatly appreciated.

I must assume, because of the lack of response that there is no other 2 blade cartridge that will fit the Gillette Sensor Razor / Handle. Mbarn however has advised me on another thread that Sensor cartridges are available on e-bay, but there is now very limited stock left. I'm still interested in Boab's double blade disposable by Feather, if anyone has any information?

Gillette Blue3 and Sensor3 disposables and carts fit the Sensor handle as do Personna Triflexx. As you may have guessed they are all triple blades.

Poundland and such some sells the Supermax system razor, the carts fit the Sensor handle but these are triple bladed affair not a double.

Alas Lidl had the last good cheap double blade razors (Atra fit) on the high street but stopped selling it a year or so ago.

Look like the new Gillette double blade razor is the only offer though a tad expensive. Boots still sell Atra/Contour carts at exuberant prices and that's about it.

For a good value twin blade razor. Grab a Wilkinson Sword Contact or Schick Ultra. Contact blades are freely available on eBay as they are still popular in Germany.

Schick Ultra Plus are good blades. I stocked up on them recently when they were on special in Woollies for $4.50AUD a pack. Not sure if they're sold in the UK.

Thank you all foryour replies; I got some Gillette Twin Slalom in Asda yesterday; 8 for £2 but I think that these are disposable; I'm not sure if they fit the Sensor handle, but will give them ago; my face is just about healing now from a severe DE using my Muhle 89 Twist c/w a feather blade. As another poster said, you can't rush with DE, but at 5:30am in the morning you need something that is quick and still gives you a good shave.

You're on the wrong Forum here m8! Our interest is in traditional shaving not those awful overpriced cartridge contraptions!!
