Good morning folks.

Has anyone recently tried Fonex Gummy Traditional Turkish Cologne?

I was sitting in my barbers yesterday and saw that they have a stock of this. Looking on the bay of E, I see that it's not overly expensive and is offered in lemon, lavender or tobacco scents.

I should have asked for a spray of each before I left, but I was curious to know if anyone here had tried and tested.

There are older threads in here but it looks like the names of the colognes have changed, I'm unsure if the contents have be altered too?

Thanks

Good morning Gordy,
I use this as an astringent in my post shave and then add a littler moisturiser aftershave balm or aloe vera gel .I Splash it on freely and a bottle lasts quite a while., I have the lavender, tobacco ,i also use selin (lemon) turkish lemon cologne..all are great value for money, however like most turkish colognes the fragrance doesn't have much of a staying power...The lemon is the most popular i assume.
Hope this helps. Regards. B

Definitely does! [emoji1303]

Thank you kindly. An order is about to be placed.

Majority of the Turkish Lemon colognes are 80% alcohol, so they have a very wide range of use. In Turkey pretty much every house would have a bottle. In summer some people keep them in the fridge and in summer days it is great for cooling. Most of the Turkish Lemon colognes smell pretty much same(Selin, Duru, PeReJa and Eyup Sabri Tuncer). Tobacco and Lavander colognes may differ, I have the Eyup S. Tuncer tobacco cologne in spray bottle and it is a good, decent scent. If you like Lavander, you got to try Rebul Lavander, it is bit more pricy than others but it is a very good quality with a natural full-on Lavander scent.

I have this, I spray on my hair at bedtime.
Most of the Kolonyas are as good as each other. As stated above Rebul is a class above these.
I was disappointed with PeReJa.
My latest bottle of Selin is plastic, previous bottles were glass which is probably why I picked it up so frequently.

Here's my Brut Kolonya. I added 25ml Brut EDC to a new bottle of limon kolonya. Results are spectacular.

Have you come across the Akcay Tobacco? It's quite different to the Eyup Sabri, I like it a lot.

You're right about the Lemon ones being similar, the Akcay & Eyup Sabri ones I have are very similar.

I think I saw Akcay tobacco cologne but didn't try, Rebul lavender is my favourite and recently I bought Duru Green Tea; it is wonderful very refreshing and a clean scent.

To my nose Akcay & Eyup Sabri tobacco colognes smell nothing like Tabac, which (the shaving soap) is more department store leather section, the Turkish tobacco colognes are more floral.
So they are floral as I see. I heard years ago the tobacco Turkish colognes smell like bad and Stinky cologne.
If they smell like floral scents then they should be nice. I have lilac aftershave scents and I like them.
Gardenia and so...
I might try these colognes...

If you try these tobacco colognes I would like to see how they smell. Are they similar to tabac scent?
I have the Eyup Sabri Tuncer Tobacco cologne in a 150ml plastic spray bottle, I would describe the scent as fresh and floral with a hint of Tobacco. On Turkish Tobacco colognes it usually writes 'Tobacco Flower'. I would suggest this cologne and I suggest keep them in the fridge. Turkish colognes are not expensive especially if you buy them from a Turkish supermarket.
