My tin of Antica Barbieria Colla Almond Oil Pre-Shave Cream is finished.
I bought this very expensive product as it was on sale and I thought I'd give it a crack. A good performer, but for me not as good as Alt Innsbruck Emulsion at about half the price, nor Myrsol Emulsion at about 1/5th the price. Hence, I cannot see myself revisiting this product. Having said that, the ABC shaving soap is a stunner and does a better job at justifying its equally high price.
 
Truefitt & Hill West Indian Limes cream. Really nice cream, smells good, lathers easily and works well. Tub lasted ages. I love these tubs so will keep and most likely promote it to my shaving bowl over the grey Ultimate Comfort bowl I've been using, just cos I love the black bowl.

Some say the smell is a bit ‘artificial' and I kind of get that, also I think it dries my skin out a bit. I'd probably buy it again but I'm onto a tube of Trumpers Limes now and don't like to have too much on the go at once

Proraso M&E Green pre-shave. I may have done this the wrong way round as I guess the cooling properties of menthol would be better suited to Spring & Summer, but I've just finished this. I will probably try the White ‘sensitive skin' one next time.

I had a go at using my Trumper's Lime skin food as a pre (I believe it can be used for pre and/or post) but it wasn't the same as Proraso pre. Anyway, the M&E is nice stuff and I'm now wondering what I can use the jar for!

I use the Trumpers Skin Food as pre shave (and post). Do you think the proraso is better, or is it too early for you to make a judgement?

I preferred Proraso for pre, but I do really like Trumpers lime skin food post. I like it so much that I'll sometimes put some on before bed, on a non shaving day or just randomly
 
An Arko stick. I'd sliced it into approximately 0.5 cms disks and squashed them into a plastic tub with a lid. Made it much easier to use and probably last longer.
A great performing soap and I didn't mind the scent, even if it reminded me of insect repellent.
