Finished.!!

this year's target will be just 2 aftershaves - both a Polish brand called Bond. am using a different 1912 soap each month and possibly 50g of Tabac so I won't use them enough to use them up. also focussing on Edts - I have 15ml Chanel Platinum Egoiste, 30ml GFT, 25ml Dior Homme and maybe 25ml of Cacheral. will report in December!

Finished my Trumper's Coconut Shaving Cream (200g) after 4 years.
From my shaving spreadsheet I reckon I've had over 31 shaves from this tub.

It actually had dried to be a hard soap after a few years but still was just as usable.

Great performance and gentle coconut scent makes this one a winner. I would probably get this one again when my soap stash gets low enough - while may be some time yet.

No more refreshing scent of lavender, rosemary and peppermint, at least for a while. Might buy it again but most likely I will go for another scent instead. Not because I didn´t like this one but as I like a bit of variation in life. To me this is good stuff! Luckely I have a replacement tub of Coconut/Sandalwood on standby so my relation to Mystic Water can continue for a while. :)

Finally finished a soap. It took quite a few “final” shaves to get there.

Finished another Proraso Pre-shave cream Sandalwood flavour.

This has been my second Proraso Sandalwood pre-shave and (according to my shaving spreadsheet) I've had over 200 shaves from this one jar.

Looking into the empty abyss of this fills me with longing for more. Does it actually do anything for the shave? Is it worth it? I still don't really know after using it for several years now. But, I like it very much, so I might get another jar some time. I can't really think of a better pre-shave cream (apart from not using a pre-shave cream at all)

I've tried the white and green versions and have decided the red is the best. I wish they had the blue aloe vera version in the pre-shave cream but for some reason they don't do it.

Oh well I'll see how long I can hold out before I get another jar.

Finished Truefitt & Hill Rose Shaving Cream

I've had these for at least 5 years and the cream is just as good as the day I bought it. I've calculated I only got 20+ shaves out of this tube which doesn't seem so many but then again I tend to use more than I actually need. A small "worm" squeezed out of this tube actually goes a long way.

I bought this primarily because of the recommended natural rose scent and that definitely is the outstanding feature; subtle and clean smelling. The cream's performance is surprisingly slick and easy to use and has resulted in nice close shaves without irritation.

Would I buy it again? Probably not, because I've now tried the scent and will move onto others; and also because I've got far too many soaps & creams already to plough through before buying any more.

Village Barber Shaving Balm Travel Size

This has taken me 5 years to finished and I reckon I've used it on 42 shaves.

It's an excellent ASB, a slight medicinal scent to it but its performance is top notch. Very soothing without being greasy. I'd say it's at the top of my ASBs. It's not a very light cream so not best suited to summer; much better in the cold weather when my skin needs a bit more moisturising.

Will I buy it again? It's on my shopping list when my stock of ASBs has reduced somewhat but I fear it will be quite a while before I need any more ASBs.
