Truefitt & Hill Lavender Shaving Cream

Decent enough shaving cream, light soothing scent . It's ok but nothing really special.
I got a small tube to try it out and, while I enjoyed it, I won't be replacing it. Plenty more soaps & creams out there to try.

Finished Tabac Soap, after several years (in rotation with other soaps).

This actually was a Tabac shave soap stick which I grated into a dish for easier lathering and performs exactly the same as the Tabac soap puck. I was even able to peel off the label and use its own glue to stick on the soap dish lid.

Tabac is (as half the population agree) one of the best performing and smelling soaps out there. I can't say a bad thing about it.

Would I buy it again? In a heartbeat. Although, as I have so many soaps on the go, I'm going to wait until I've finished a few more before I can justify adding to my stash.

quote "by the end of 2018 I will have finished - 60g Cella, 70g Nanny's Bergamot hardsoap, 75g verguilde hand and possibly 70g Proraso red. as for a/s I will have finished 80ml of Bond Executive, 100ml homemade mentholated Bayrum, 100ml Verbana Sauvage and possibly 90ml Patrich Noir.

I know it's cheating to list them in advance but I will report in at the end of the year to confirm :) bet you can't wait... " /quote

Finished Pinaud Clubman Shaving Soap.

This tiny tub is only about half the diameter of a regular soap tub and so is perfect for travel. It's a softish soap which tends to go quickly. Performance was good and a mild, refreshing scent meant that I enjoyed using it.
Would I buy it again? - probably not but if I was stuck for a soap while on holiday I would definitely reach for this one in a shop. I think it's only to be seen in 'merica though so that is unlikely to happen.

Monsavon Bol à Raser Shaving Soap. A very nice low cost soap with scent of Coca Cola. Only downside in my opinion is its sensitivity of correct amount of water added. Too much water the foam will colapse and you have to start all over again. Will most likely buy this soap again in the future. Must end a few couple of soaps first though before I can justify myself a purchase.

Clubman soap is now is now stocked by Superdrug, so for some in the UK it should be available for purchase on their high streets.

Finished, large tub of Truefitt & Hill Ultimate Comfort cream. Bought exactly 6 months ago, at a bargain, strangely priced £14.03 on eBay, I make that £2.34 a month. I’d have once spent similar on canned crap each month and this is far better and more luxurious. I’d buy it again but like to try other stuff and have a huge tub of Castle Forbes Lime waiting. Too nice a tub to throw out, may keep to use as a travel bowl.
