Feeling nostalgic

Hi all, as I can't post on the buy / sell forum yet I thought I would just ask the question and see if anyone knows where I might be able to find a Wilkinson Sword Protector 3D diamond, I've seen the yellow ones for sale, but I'm after the metal silver version. This was my very first razor and I got rid of it years ago, but a recent bout of nostalgia means I'd like to try and fine one, I'm only shaving with DEs at the moment, but I'd like to get one just for occasional use, hopefully someone will know where I can find one. Does anyone else still have their first razor still?

The metal one was, as far as I know, only sold on the German market and called Wilkinson Protector Metal.
There were a more 'matte metal', but in plastic, sold in the UK though;

The Germans liked the Metal version so much they came out with 5+ different painted metal ones in their "Ethno line".
I have two of them, below surrounding a British James Bond metal one;

The James Bond ones - both in silver and gold metal colors - were sold in the UK.
Here are three of them;

If you like the design of the Protector you might be interested in some of the other razors that Sir Kenneth Grange designed - this thread shows some of his work

To get a Metal one - or James Bond one for that matter - the easiest way is probably ebay UK or ebay DE these days.
Expect to pay $20+ for one in box.

The later plastic Protectors (red, yellow, blue, etc) are rather common and can often be picked up for a couple of pounds or so. I believe some might even be on Amazon.
