Feather Proguard, AC blade !

I have been using AC/SE Razors for some time now, using Feather Pro but mainly my favourite the Schick Proline. Recently I acquired an Occams Oren and used the Feather Proguard as recommended for use with the most aggressive plate 3. I got super Shaves with this combo, and used it on holiday.

My Occams is currently on loan , so on a whim decided to try the Proguard in other AC/SE Razors that I have. I have now used it in the Alu Hawk/General, Mongoose, ATT SE1, and a Claymore V1. I have a heavy need to Shave Daily Beard, but got a most comfortable top class Shave with each Razor that I used the blade in.

This blade might be of interest to those who have sensitive skin or those who are a bit nick/cut prone with other AC blades.I think that perhaps the price of the blades has deferred folk from trying them, but I think they are very good. I managed to source mine fro Rakuten at around £9 for 15.

Thanks for the tip about using Rakuten. I've always wanted to try the Proguards, but though they were a bit expensive. I use Rakuten to get my Schick Prolines it never occurred to me they might sell Feather blades as well.
I'm sure people already know this, but if you keep your purchase below £15 you'll avoid duty and VAT.

Do you have a specific link for Rakuten? I did a Google search and found there are several Rakuten websites.

Thanks, Micheal
Use Rakuten Global Market, you have to Register to use it but very easy.
I have just received order confirmation. 2 Packs @ £8.95each delivered to UK.

Nothing just wrong supplier Enter Feather anti-fingerprint in search , odd I know but gets you to site that offers Small Packet post
I ordered 2 packs just under £9 per pack inc post to UK
Entered 'Feather anti-fingerprint' in search engine and got nothing related to Feather razor blades. Any other suggestions will be appreciated.

I did used the Pro guard in my Feather Shavette and the General S/e. I found the first 2/3 shaves a bit rough but after that there were great for the next 15 shaves. I then found soft guard blades which seem to suit me better, I get a BBS from the first shave no need to break the blade in so to speak, but I only get about 8 shaves per blade, but as a daily shave blade much better.
