I don't know, I'd be confident to say that blades like red IPs, Iridiums and 7 o'clocks are a pretty safe bet in any razor: consistent, sharp enough, unlikely to give one any nasty surprises. The tricky ones are things like Derbys which divide people, and at the other end of the spectrum Feathers, which really are razor and skin type dependent, although there's a definite consensus about their properties. I'd be happy to recommend the Personnas to anyone, beginner or experienced regardless of skin sensitivity, because they invariably pass all the important tests: sharp but not scary, smooth, forgiving of technique, readily available, cheap.Fido said:One cannot discuss blades in isolation.
