Dont have a FB but I do have a Slim, I like the adjustability and weight...cannot fault it tbh, also got a blue tip which is a nice mild razor, I have about a dozen DE's but use straights now, the Slim would be my go to if I was having a quick shave.

How does the Black Beauty adjustable compare to the Slim & FB?

It seems to be the overlooked Gillette adjustable.

i love the slim, fatboy and long handled black beauty

for me theres not that much in it between them but i would say the black beauty is defo underrated and im not quite sure why

I have two Fatboy's and one bb, never been lucky enough to snag a slim. I like the look of the Fatboy over the slim, but both give me decent shaves and hard to pick one over the other.

I’ve had both and ultimately sold them. My Fatboy was a cased minter and Slim a lovely J2. Nice for collectors and good shavers but a good blade in a Rocket HD is better for me. And then there’s the early flat bottom, fat handle English Tech and the heavy ball end Tech….

Yep, adjustables are gimmicks to sell to folks who don't have a clue, a fix for a problem that doesn't exist. Just get an OLD, a New, or a Tech, and shave like a champ every time.
