Hi chaps

Anyone come across the Eversharp Super Stainless before? Never seen them before so had to grab them. I think they might be 1970s...

Made in Great Britain so I'm thinking maybe made in same factory as the Scottish Permasharps?

Not shaved with one yet but will do soon!IMG_20200914_213954.jpgIMG_20200914_214416.jpgIMG_20200914_214311.jpg

First time for me too, had a shave with one yesterday and it was a cracking shave, very similar to UK Wilkies, not quite as smooth on the last pass but still excellent. I'll see how I go with further shaves!

FWIW, Eversharp was a brand name attached to Schick. There was also a 1912 released under the Eversharp name - both a 1919 and 1930 (Junior) style. All of those were US and related to single edge shaving. I found a reference to an Eversharp knife which in turn made reference to double edge razor blades from the 1950s. The British brand will be different. Also of note is that (another?) Eversharp was part of the WAHL group, ultimately bought up by Parker (pens).

I found this pin which shows some, presumably from the same stable: https://www.pinterest.co.uk/pin/395261304781638873/ ... it's all a bit lost in the mists of time, this one. Nice find!
