I don't know if this section is appropriate for posting this, i just try.
Received yesterday my forst electric in 28 years (last one was a terrible philips rotary in 1991)
It'a a brand new XIAOMI (yes, That xiaomi) Mijia S500. Japanese motor mabuchi 260, high rotation speed, 3d head etc.
Shaves surprisingly we.. almost BBS not as close as my Hydro5 but the difference is not so noticeable and very confortable BUT with one caveat: using brush and cream. Using it dry is less close.

today another shave with the xiaomi S500 this time using just williams lectric shave due to time constrains. Well i have to confirm the good initial impressions. It shaves quite well, almost BBS with no irritiation.Xiaomi IM has a winner. i am an electric convert. I would say electric razors have come a long way over the last 20+ years.

another near-BBS this time completely dry, in just 6 minutes. I'm impressed by the quality of this Xiaomi.
