Does anyone now only own one razor?

I only really use the Rockwell 6c now. I have 2 Ming Shi 2000s razors, Merkur progress and a Merkur 34c also have a Schick j1 injector. Used the progress yesterday for the first time since I bought the Rockwell and it just didn't do it for me. Won't sell any of my other razors though as they aren't really worth anything second hand. 34c was my first de so that has a bit of sentimental value.
I was thinking about selling some of mine, but as you have said - they aren't really worth anything, so it doesn't really seem worth the hassle!

I now have one razor that I could shave well with for the rest of my life. The trouble is I had to buy a stack of razors to try first and wouldn't really want to sell them all now
But I could do if I needed....honestly !!!

I have settled on one brush, one blade, and one soap as well as one razor. Focus R48, german wilkinson, MWF, and Omega Pro 48 every working day for me. I spend enough time chasing the new at work and value some consistency and predictability in the small things.

I also like value for money and have settled on this combo as getting me as close a shave as I'll ever need.

After shave products are another story.

I only keep one razor, soon to be a Canadian pre war Tech.

My Star will be sold and i will tell myself its the Tech from now, that i will not buy another razor...........until some bright spark on here puts ideas in my head ;)

I did have one but gave it to my son when i bought the Star.

I did like the flat bottom very much but the Star was that bit more efficient, especilly under the chin and jaw line.

I am hoping the Canadian will be as good as the Star.

I like my Canadian and my Star, that would be a tough choice for me, I'm sure you will be happy with the Pre-war Tech. Never had a flat bottom, so I have no knowledge there,... aren't those English made only?

As far as I know, yes, they were only Made in England... Something to do with transitioning to new models and ways of manufacture. The UK didn't change over as quickly as the US, so they produced some sort of transitional models. I could be wrong, but I'm sure that's what I've read on forums (must be true)!

I have a total of 104 DE and SE razors, from the late C19th to the latest Blackland. I also have some straight razors.

I've only ever sold one (a Star 7 Day boxed set), but lack of space has slowed the pace down.

I try to use most of them, but my current favourites are my Timeless kit and brass General.

I am getting life down to just three, either one I happily use regularly. A Timeless 0.68, an Ikon SB and a Colonial General. I could happily take it down to one, but hey, there is only so much fun one can remove from life.

So in answer to the thread......not yet
