Does anyone now only own one razor?

I was just wondering how many people here have experimented and sold off the suprlus to stick to one razor/setup!
If you have more than one, if you had to - which one would you keep?
I'm afraid I don't have any suprlus razors, so can't sell any.
A single razor? What a preposterous idea!
How could I let go of my 1912, my Bunny V3, my Eversharp Fashion Razor, my Bigelow-Parkin, my Schick N3, my etc?
Ask me about a single brush and might be able to come up with an answer.

I have 3+ DE razors (as well as an electric and various cartridge handles). They all sit in my drawer unused and I cannot think of any situation where I would use them nor do I have any nagging desires to try them again. Focus Dynamic R48 is all I use. For me, you can't beat the combination of closeness and comfort.

I'm down to six☆SEVEN razors now my RAD has calmed down

Merkur Futur, Merkur 34C, DE89, Rockwell 6C, Wilkinson Sword Classic and Ikon 102
☆Edit . . Forgot about my R41

If I had to keep just one it would be the 6C
It gives me reliably good results and is the smoothest shaver of them all.

I have only one DE razor the feather as d2 I have no reason to buy another as I'm happy with it, I do have other razors though as I enjoy the variety I have the Oneblade Genesis V2, 2 feather artist clubs the SS with custom scales and the DX in white pearl, a Taylor of old Bond Street Edwardian Mach 3 and the Braun series 7 electric shaver, the last 2 don't get much use but I do enjoy them all, the only other razor I would consider buying is a straight now !

I don't have one razor, per se, but I only use one - the rest is there for.. .reasons... I dunno :D But the one I'm using everyday for every occasion, more or less, is a Gillette NEW from the 1930s. I have sold a lot off, because this NEW does it all for me.

I only really use the Rockwell 6c now. I have 2 Ming Shi 2000s razors, Merkur progress and a Merkur 34c also have a Schick j1 injector. Used the progress yesterday for the first time since I bought the Rockwell and it just didn't do it for me. Won't sell any of my other razors though as they aren't really worth anything second hand. 34c was my first de so that has a bit of sentimental value.

I have a small collection of straights which are all Japanese, similar size and grind but with regards to safety razors I went through a few before deciding I only needed a PILS.
If only keeping one then it would of course be one of the straights. DE’s and SE’s don’t come close, any of them.

I was thinking about selling some of mine, but as you have said - they aren't really worth anything, so it doesn't really seem worth the hassle!

I now have one razor that I could shave well with for the rest of my life. The trouble is I had to buy a stack of razors to try first and wouldn't really want to sell them all now
But I could do if I needed....honestly !!!

I have settled on one brush, one blade, and one soap as well as one razor. Focus R48, german wilkinson, MWF, and Omega Pro 48 every working day for me. I spend enough time chasing the new at work and value some consistency and predictability in the small things.

I also like value for money and have settled on this combo as getting me as close a shave as I'll ever need.

After shave products are another story.
