Do you leave the blade in the razor?

Isopropyl Alcohol. I bought a litre of 100% lab grade for about £7 last year from Amazon. I have some of it in a small screw top container in which I dip my razor.

In leave mine in but, between shaves, loosen the head and give the razor a good shake to remove any water. I then leave it loose until the next shave.

NB: Forgetting to re-tighten it makes for a shockingly aggressive shave... Nurse! Swabs!

I dip my already rinsed and dismantled razor and blade in IPA. Leave all the parts on tissue whilst I dress, by which time the IPA has evaporated. I then reinsert the blade and assemble the razor ready for next time. Unfortunately due to the Coronavirus crisis, IPA is probably hard to get hold of at present.

Always disassemble, clean and dry everything. Leave disassembled on dry cloth till next time. Never place back in its wrapper. Reasons:
1) Hygiene
2) Chrome protection
3) Using a RW 6C and don't always use the same plate next time. Disassembled it's ready to choose the plate, assemble and get going.

I'm the same, razor gets a wee scrub with an old toothbrush and soap when the blade gets changed.

I usually leave mine in. Exceptions are when travelling. Then I removed the blade, dry it and put it back in its wrapper. If I don't the inside of my wash bag gets cut up.

Too much of an inconvenience to have to get a new blade for every shave, and they're not single use like toilet paper. Blade makers used to brag about how they stayed sharp "shave after shave".
