Do you leave the blade in the razor?

Just wondering - I don't see it as a problem - do you keep the blade in the razor head til next shave? Cleaned of course.

When I first starting DE shaving I used to leave the blade in the razor but found when replacing the blade (which'd be within a week) I found the blade to be rusty, and since then I always take the blade out of the razor.

I leave the blade in my Rockwell but give the razor a really good shake and dry as much of it as I can on my towel before putting it back on the windowsill ready for the next morning.

Leave it in if it's SS, never had a problem, don't clean it or dry it either, comes out when it's dead.

And I don't wash and dry my soap either.

+1. Reason being may not use the same razor for days or weeks, same goes for the blade.

Much the same but back in the razor after. Likewise clean and dry the razor.

I believe in looking after things. I don't care how long it takes (only a few minutes at that anyway) but a bit of hygiene goes a long way.

Remove, rinse, pat dry and back in drawer with the razors. I rarely use the same razor for two consecutive shaves.

I always remove the blade and place back in the paper wrapper once rinsed and dried, partly because I don't use the same blade and razor every shave and party because I feel compelled to do so, that's OCD for you! P.

I take the blade out and palm strop it dry and place it back in the wrapper and tear the paper to keep track of uses. Then give the razor a wipe over with a microfibre cloth to get all the white residue off the razor.

Open it up a little, and leave it in.

I leave it in as I tend not to change razors until the blade is finished
