Derby dead after 1 shave

Once we have a basic grasp of the technique there is nothing to fear from the sharp blades in fact I would concur that sharper has been safer for me also.

I tried out a feather blade after about 4 weeks of DE shaving and I found it to be a super shave, close and comfortable and the blade was good for 3 shaves, just about but my beard is fine but dense. So far Feathers are my favourite, but I'm working my way through others, so it would be premature to say they will stay there.
