I have seen very little about this cream and the rose scent sounds great. However, how does this cream fair in respect of cushioning glide etc. Currently using MWF and Meißner.

There's plenty of info online if you do a quick search for it. It's quite well touted by those who have used it and extensively reviewed. I personally loved using the Wild Rose and shouldn't have got rid of it - only reason I did was due to a 'soap cull'.

Alternatively, you could buy some (it's fairly inexpensive) and write your own review vs MWF and Meißner?

I thoroughly enjoyed a pot of Cyril Salter French Vetiver cream, the scent was strong and well put together (similar to NSS vetiver and Jabonman/Eurofros Tierra Humeda), from what I can remember there were no issues with slickness, protection or the post shave feel.

If I was still using creams I would have Salter's French Vetiver always in stock.

Its good stuff, apparently... I'll let you know once I get a pot of wild rose myself :D

The only negatives I've read are apparently its sensitive to temperature, in the height of summer some peoples creams have seperated and some object to the strong scent strength... Yet to read any complaints about performance.

I just got a tub and it is indeed potent and shaves great. That said, I am not sure that I am totally in love with the scent and do get a bit of the "dirty ashtray" others have described. My #1 vetiver shave soap still reigns:
