Hello All,

We come to you with much excitement, as we are finally ready to share what we have been working on over the past year. I know we have been very silent lately, but it was all for good reason. We've been hard at work behind the scenes at the old log house headquarters designing our DE razor and The General version 2 (more news coming at later date for this).

Today, we want to introduce our first double edge safety razor that we have named The Silversmith. The Silversmith was designed from scratch in-house and inspired by the graceful shapes of 18th century silver teapots crafted by skilled silversmith artisans. Our goal was not to re-invent the classic DE razor, but instead design something that is familiar yet unique in its own way. We believe that we have accomplished this with The Silversmith.

This razor will be CNC machined only in the USA from 316L stainless steel and have a glass bead blast finish. We would rate this razor at a 6/10 in aggression. It is incredibly smooth and efficient due to the rigidly clamped blade.

We are currently working with our machinist on scheduling and pricing, so we don't have a price to reveal to you all at this moment. Once we know more, we will release further details.

Kind Regards,
Kirk and Kyle Evans

I still want a "General" SE though

It looks nice enough, and if it's as good a razor as my trio of Generals, then Colonial may have hit the mark again.

For me, the price will be of great interest. The Generals weren't cheap to buy from the UK, and I've lately been spoilt by the Razorock GC .84 and Occam's, both at a very reasonable sub-£80 all up.

I'm not sure how the Generals can be improved on, other than being made from another metal such as titanium; or perhaps an oc version (?!).
