Ok.So I have been honing my last two purchases from ebay. Both Sheffield made in Glasgow razors. The bevel and edge was in good condition so I thought to give them 100x on my Chinese stone to polish them up.I done one of them and believe me it took forever as the Chinese stone is slow but a good finisher.Feeling tired I went to bed thinking I will do the other tomorrow. The next day I needed a shave,so I thought I will try my new blade.Well I lifted the WRONG one.The second I touched my face I had cut myself. The whole shave was bad. Then I realized.WRONG BLADE.I finished with the honed blade and she was sweet but the damage had been done.Styptic pencil was needed (first time in 20 yr)Embarrassed to say but worth a mention to noobs who have just bought a few new blades.Make sure you shave with the sharp one!I know it was a stupid mistake but both blades were identical apart from one having Monday on the spine and another having Sunday.I may have forgot to say that the one that was on the Chinese stone was an immense blade.I love Gottas but this was better.Man those Chinese stones have the hoodoo if you get a good 'un.

Aww M8, what a bummer ! Doesn't help any that we've all done something as unfortunate in a moment's inattention. Glad the correct blade is a good 'un though.
