Cartridge Blades

Despite everything, for some things I still use a Mach 3. Anyone have a good resource to get these blades? I wonder if they'll ever stop making them? I hope not.

I see them on the bay but those are Chinese counterfits for the most part. Usually you can get a good deal buying in bulk.

That may last me 10 years now. I sparingly use a cart since using a DE, and hopefully soon moving up to an SE.

But, if you know of a place that sells them cheaper let me know. :()

Hi rickboone,

For all the slating that cartridges get on place like here everyone realises it is a personal choice. I still use them from time to time but not enough to stock up in bulk so can't help with any direct experience. The only place I could think of would be the likes of Costco but that may be where you get them already.

Agreed that you should avoid the ebay ones though.

I use a cartridge razor fairly frequently, and given that Sensor/Sensor Excel blades are still readily available, I wouldn't worry too much about the Mach 3 disappearing just yet..

i found that the Sensor was vastly superior to the M3.

any time i visit my mate up in HM's neck of the woods we always pay a visit to Costco as i've to pick up M3 blades for the boys at work, among other things.
4 x 5 pack (20 cartridges) for less than £20

Costco is a kind of yank style cash 'n carry - you need a membership but the quality of stuff, especially the butcher section, and prices make it worthwhile

and don't ever buy cartridge blades from ebay
