Canned goop

Hey guys

Ive been experimenting a lot lately from DE to carts to electric.

Ive been using a few different creams, soaps and canned goop.

I seem to be getting my best DE shaves with canned shave creams. Not sure why but the overall shave is just better. Post shave is also great with no irritation.

I understand that artisan soaps are much better for the skin but i think they might be too oily for my skin. I know canned stuff is full of nasty's.....but it works well..lol

Ive been using canned proraso, gillette, barbasol and nivea and im getting excellent DE shaves every time.

Any thoughts?

I don't tend to see canned foam/cream or whatever it's called as full of nasties. Probably not much worse than standard toothpaste or shampoo which we also put in/on our bodies.

One thing though, you should pick up one of these; https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B0...e=UTF8&qid=1524718038&sr=8-6&keywords=noxzema

Far more superior to other foams.

Oh yessss! I actually used to use that can many years ago. Loved it !!

Going to order one now.

I love a good menthol kick. Been adding M-bomb with every shave. [emoji274][emoji300]️[emoji274]

If you get better results from what you are using over other products then why wouldn't you want to keep using it.
There is no wrong or right way of doing thing's, only what is right for you. P.

If anything it's an excuse to buy more until you find the right one for you :).

Give Clinique Aloe shave gel a try, it's the best goo I've ever used and it doesn't feel artificial. I always keep some handy in case I'm in a rush.

When I went to Turkey to visit the family, my brother gave me a special addition(60th anniversary) Arko shaving foam and gel, I am not sure if they are still available because I've heard that they were produced in limited quantities and sold in certain shops, I guess the formula of the gel and foam are same as their normal stuff but the special thing is the scent!!
Yes, they have a strong Arko Shave Stick scent and it lingers on the face quite a while.

I have a whole draw of L'Occitane mini cans of shaving gels, it's always included in the gift sets. I should use them for travel, but....
Because I bought so many soaps and creams over the years(pretty much like everybody in this forum) I like using them, those canned foam and gel are great for if you are in a mad rush and/or pre-shave. I use them as a pre-shave like; wash the face with warm water and apply the foam or gel and wash it off then use the soap or cream. Some people may think that it is pointless, waste of time and product but it's better than buying and not using at all.

Well for travel I use cheaper creams like T&H No 10 or RSC sans parabens. I am just being a snob about these gels. They should be better than the cheapest canned goo? ;)
