I am very impressed with look of 30mm Cadman Tuxedo brushes. Appreciate any owners who have experience with this brush and how the rate it for eg is it too big or just right, lzthering, backbone etc. My current go brush is a Simpsons Chubby 2 synthetic which I find is superb. Thanks

I own a 30mm Cadman Tuxedo it is a great brush, when I first got it I was concerned it would be too big but the Loft on mine is set to about 55mm so it isn't a brush with a big splay, but it feels amazing on the face very luxurious if that makes any sense ! It eats soaps too.

I have never used the Simpson brush so can't give a direct comparison but I believe they too don't splay so much.

I like the knot so much I just replaced the knots in a 24mm and 26mm brush with the same Knot and it is a great knot in the smaller sizes too.

30mm vs 24mm

The only 30mm knot I have is a finest 2band badger and in my book 30mm is way too big for daily use but fun to take for a spin occasionally.

I have 2 of them and yes they are impressive brushes and beautifully made.

Although they are lather monsters I do find them more suitable to harder soaps and you do have to work them to get the best results. One issue I find is they are a dense knot and tend to clog up easily. You just have to learn what soaps they are suited to and what are not. I wouldn't say they are a 'Do it all' brush

If you lean more towards creams then the likes of the Razorock 400 give better results with less hassle. And a lot less outlay
