BSB Shaving Brushes - Introducing my project

Here is that brush after it's first shave:

Did it stand up to your expectations? P.
So far. It is very different than the original 400s and the knot definitely a modern semi-fan instead of the original straight flat knots. It's also much heavier than the originals and it's one piece instead of two. If I ever do another one I'll likely specify a Zenith instead of Omega knot.

Some other Rubberset 400 style brushes:

Now it is soaking in that perfumed water that I like. It will be three or four days. Then several days of drying before being installed on the brush.

The BEAUTY of the BSB-1

I started my endeavour in late 2013. The first protos saw the light late 2014, and the first batch with Vie-Long knots in spring 2015. After that, titanium version, anodized version, powder coated protos, Muhle, shavemac and SIMPSONS knots, presence in the Rubberset museum in Crisfield, Maryland, the Muhle museum in Germany, and the Vie-Long museum in Spain. Also several artisans and businesses followed me and had their own reasons to jump in the arena with their interpretations of this brush, but at BSB I continue looking for the beauty, quality and excellent performance, because that was, is, and will be ever my goal. That make my days and the happiness of my friends around the world who have a BSB brush, with the best knots anybody can dream. Enjoy the video in HD, my good friends. Thanks for your support.

I have a BSB 400 handle with a Shavemac D01 knot (left brush on the picture and still wet), I also have re-knotted a RR handle with a Semogue 2000 knot and for some reason I now love it.... with the Semogue handle it hardly saw any action. :)

The RR handle feels slightly heavier than the BSB but just as confortable to hold. The BSB handle is indeed beautiful.
