Hello friends. Updated information.

I have to announce that there is a change in the knot. The knot will not be FAN, nor 49 mm loft.
The knot will be a VIE-LONG two bands, white badger, BULB, very nice, at 51 mm loft more or less, some tenths up or down.
There will also be possible choosing VIE-LONG Silvertip, with a price differential.

I will send information by email to all friends with firm order.

This endeavour is being very difficult. Many troubles. I am alone in this, but I am perseverant. I just need a little more time and a little more patience on your part. I do not do this for money, but for stubbornness, but earning some money is necessary for continuity.

Due to various issues with several Chinese suppliers of knots (basically good samples and bad knots when the big order came) there are many knots (all of them) traveling back to China. I lost some money and hope to recover the rest, but that's not important.

What is important is my personal commitment to deliver a good brush with a well built handle and a quality knot. Now the whole brush will be made in Spain. Sorry communicate this change, but I am compelled by circumstances. Who does not want to go ahead will be fully refunded his money and an apology.

Faced with adversity, I decided to reduce my profit, but assembling the best knot that I can get, much better than the best Chinese samples that I received.

It will be a VIE-LONG white badger knot, ie, a two bands. It is a knot BULB shape, but a special BULB for BSB, at 51 mm loft approx, very nice, and with a hair grade that has some character. Origin and quality unquestionables. It is possible that someone does not like VIE-LONG knots, but now you know exactly what you are going to buy, not a knot of unknown or undefined Chinese origin. A knot of the best in the world. I'll keep the price, reducing my profit, but increasing the value of the brush for you.

For those who prefer a Silvertip, VIE-LONG too, will be about 2 mm less of loft, at 49 mm approx. I will communicate to interested people the price differential with Silvertip knot. I never announced price with Silvertip, so that's not a price change. It is simply the price differential that exists also in VIE-LONG brushes.

I'm really upset about not being able to fulfill what I said, but business with those so far suppliers are very difficult and risky, and my worst fears have come true. I keep searching. But for now, this lot will be released with VIE-LONG knots.

You may wonder how it is possible. No one other than the brand itself mounts VIE-LONG knots. I am lucky to have good friends who help me in adversity. This is a unique opportunity for you. The BSB brushes will mount these knots. I am upset, but happy, because I think I've increased the value of the brush for you.

To go figuring I need to know if someone leaves because of this change. And if someone else wants to buy now that the you know the definitive knot. I will put some pics of a test knot I have.

Thank you very much for your patience. This is going to take longer. I can just to apologize. And thank you for the support you give to me. You are wonderful people, my friends.

Friends, I want to briefly announce that who wants a BSB with the synthetic knot that everyone wants, the Muhle Silvertip Fibre XL 25 mm in diameter, will be able to have it. Manufactured by Muhle in Germany. You can easily watch the video on the internet. I speak not of a knot with fibers such as Muhle, I speak of Muhle. I try to get the best for the BSB, and for you.

Hello. Just mention that there are a few, very few units in titanium. Beautiful with this intriguing color they have. I'll post photos when I can. If anyone is interested, please send me email. These brushes are special, my friends. Thanks a lot for your support.

Friends, good afternoon, let me explain about the knots and the museums.

Not all of this was planned. The plans were knots from a Chinese supplier. Good knots, with good quality, that is possible. Was not going through my head any more than that. But circumstances, problems, delays, bad times, were the key. The Vie-Long knots were unplanned. They were a solution to my problem. One solution I can never thank them enough. Thank You, Vie-Long. The Vie-Long museum, humble, exists. I've been there. Of course it's going to be a BSB brush in it if they want.

Synthetic knots, also was not planned. Some friends were asking me, so I start looking for the knot that everyone wants. The Muhle Silvertip Fibre. It took a while, but it was possible, thanks to the kindness of Mr. Christian Mueller, when he knew for what brush were intended his knots. He told me he can not wait to receive one unit to place in the Muhle Museum. I am honored that a company with its history consider my humble brush this way. No doubt the first brushes, specifically this from my friend Robert Warwick have helped. When I saw it, I thought that I had to have this knot to be able to offer it to some friends who prefer synthetics. The museum was not planned. It simply happened.

What certainly was planned for months, was to inform of my plans to the company that is the current owner of the trade mark of the original antique brush. Possible patents that may have existed, if they existed, it is clear that are expired, but given the uniqueness of this brush, and how close is my homage to the original and characteristic design of the brush, I did consider it was necessary and polite , to humbly inform and ask permission to proceed with my project. Recently I received approval, provided I do not use the brand name, because it is trademarked, but I can use the number 400, and the surprise was that I was told that they would be honored and they would love to add one unit to his museum in Crisfield, Maryland. I had no idea that this museum existed, another thing that has happened without planning.

So that, one brush as yours is going to be in each of these three museums, sharing showcase with others brushes and beautiful shaving items. I am honored to be able to place there a humble brush crafted in Spain. And I think you will like that.

Thank you friends. For your support. For your confidence. For your patience. And thanks to all who have helped me in adversity and have rescued me at times of despair, when I thought about canceling the project and refunding you all the money. Good people.

I just need a little more patience, this will take a few weeks more to get the knots set. And I hope that they be good and meet up to your expectations.
