Yes, it makes a man lazy in his technique as well. I remember when I switched to the Gillette Atra from their Trac II back around 1980 that I started getting ingrown hairs like crazy.

Seems similar to the Focus R48 but it's about half the price and seems less fiddly to load a blade.

I like the look of that - I always thought a metal version of the Guard would be a good thing and this is not far off. I won't be buying it though - I have far too many razors as it is plus, I'm not sure they will hit their target. Good luck to them anyway

Isn't it the worlds Fourth ever pivoting safety razor (single blade). Focus R 48, Gillette Guard, ONEBLADE. Anymore?

I like the design, & the name is, well they had to call it something not already trade marked.

If this shaves as good as Focus r48 id buy it as the blade seems foolproof to load.

It looks like a good idea and if it works well it could be a good alternative to a cartridge razor. I love my DEs too much to change though.

What REALLY REALLY REALLY bugged me is that in the picture of the razor open they put the blade in upside down.
