Boar or Synth recommendations for face lathering?

Wow. Your Zenith really bloomed out, my one in comparison is still very tight in comparison.

A real shame TVB Shaving is no longer around, it's where I bought my ones from (I presume yours was from there as well)

Omega No 98 boar for 10 pounds is worth testing, I have three and no problem using straight out of the box.

I concur and can attest to their use straight out of the box, having bought two and used them straight away without issue. This is pretty much the last boar brush that I own.

One that I am really enjoying at the moment is the Yaqi Daffodil with a cashmere synthetic knot. It's a good balance and operates like a nicely hydrated boar.

I fancied a brush with a bit of backbone recently. So read up on this and other forums. Was going to pay a bit however this came out well 1 x OMEGA 10051 Pure Bristle Shaving Brush. Connaught shaving sell them for about a fiver! Thought what the hell you never know. Can always bin it. Short loft 50mm so really firm. Love it you cant go wrong.

I find the 10051 knot (in a peg harvested from our apple tree) too small for face lathering
