Boar brushes are excellent, the main difference between them is Semouge is more dense, although they are both boar, they feel different in a good way. I also like Proraso brush(it is an Omega but I don't think you can get that size in Omega brushes) and Turkish boar brushes are fantastic as well in my opinion.

I presumed as such, Anthony; however, Sezer's "very interesting" comment put me off the scent. I had never come across any such badger hair grade, but I'm still learning, as are we all, so I started to doubt myself!
Nor had I - the pictures on the vendor's site aroused my suspicions, confirmed by the bullshit descriptions of other brushes such as "Best badger silvertip" (contradiction in terms)
This has not stopped me ordering - never tried a Boar and if it does not suit I shall re-knot that pretty handle!
