Best place to purchase injector &/or Gem blades UK?

Hi

Question in the title.

I am new to the world of SE & am still finding my feet.

I have found Connaught shaving which seems nice & cheap but what about other places.
Any suggestions?

BTW I ideally want injector mags with insert keys so I don't have to transfer between mags.

Thanks in advance.

Connaught is the only one in the UK. Stay clear of Ebay for the Gem Blades. Only the SS Blades are suitable for shaving. Maggards do Treet and GEM blades which are Carbon steel which don't have as much longevity and are considerably more expensive.

Thank you.

Any advice for Schick injector mags with the key?

I read about Amazon US but 112 blades comes to about £86.
Much more expensive than Connaught persona.

That's the best price you'll find them for.
You can save 50% by ordering half the blades.
See if you like them before ordering by the hundreds.

ATM I have some Chinese Schick's & one pack of personna to compare. First shave will be today.

I have two injectors & three ever ready/gem SE. I considered them more of a novelty than a possible daily driver after looking at the cost of blades compared to my DE.

However after finding Connaught & seeing the price of the personna injector & Gem SE blades compared to other places I looked it may mean my SE/injector could become a part of my regular rotation (depends how the personna blades shave).

If the personnas can't compete with the Schick I think my injectors will stay as a fun novelty.

The Personnas are perfectly OK blades if you can live with the crappy plastic magazine.

First injector shave

Schick type E

Feeling pissed.

If I had discovered this 10 years ago I would of saved ALOT of money.

Not a perfect shave I missed a few bits but it has gotten me closer on my kneck more comfortably than my best DE with little effort.

I had the same attitude until I discovered the Karve. I now use a Karve, Schick E, and a Schick shavette. I'll be perfectly honest, persona are not a patch on Schick blades, which I am sure you'll find.

Oh no I was using Personna.

OMR!

There isn't really much of an injector market in Europe nowadays, or even in the USA for that matter. Regardless, you need a magazine loader full of blades and only Schick offers those new at present. I don't think anyone in the UK stocks those. I looked on EbayUK and all are shipped from the USA, but they are worth it. Most like them better than the current Personna blades. I used a G Model Schick today that I dug out of storage as it hadn't been used in months. The blade that was in it is a Chinese Schick that had one use on it. The resultant shave on a two day beard was impeccable. This combo simply scythes through whiskers like a cheap broad goes through money!! ;) It's shaves such as this that afterwards I look askance at my DE razors.

I forgot that Connaught sells the superb Schick Proline B-20 blades. This is what you want:
