I feel your pain mate - I had tickets for the Corn Exchange in Edinburgh - Tuesday the 24th of August 2004 - to see the Beta Band - unfortunately that was the day they split up. I photographed Oasis at Balloch in 1996 - when you are doing gigs - the rules generally are - three numbers and you're out - so plenty of time to listen - they were awesome - at the height of their powers - not as good as Black Grape though - they tore the place up - happy days. - I.

The Mamas and the Papas were super rock stars at the time, especially with the folksies. But they muddied the line between folk and pop, and some didn't like them becoming mainstream, or "commercial" and therefore part of "corporate" America, which made them "them" and not part of "us" anymore.
