Best head shave? Opinions needed

Are you looking a specific shaver for scalp or a regular razor? For scalp I tried two Headblade and Omnishaver! Both are good and very easy to use! The cons are: you have to import from usa (omnishaver) and both use own brand blades! The omnishaver com easily last for a month! If you are looking for a disposable shaver I suggest the boldking! I'm using bold king and I'm really enjoying! I shave my head every two days and the blades are lasting 3 weeks with a really good closing shave! I think it's the closest you gonna get to a DE shaving.
Another thing that can help against the nicks and are helping me a lot: pre shave cream from prorasso, shaving cream (from prorasso also) and top up with a thick layer of nappy cream (you can get a small pot for .99 at any savers!).

I started using a DE razor to shave my head around a year ago. I was already using a DE razor on my face for around 7 years (Edwin Jagger Chatsworth).
I had just bought a load of Feather blades which I hadn't tried before. I found I was getting a few nicks on both my face and head.
I decided to buy an adjustable razor thinking that would allow me to change the aggressiveness. I bought a Murkur Futur. Still with the Feather blades I was getting a few nicks although less.
I then went back to the Wilkinson blades I had been previously using and they worked great, no nicks etc. I also tried Perma Sharp Super blades and they were great to, no nicks.
I use various soaps and creams Proraso, Edwin Jagger, Dr.Harris etc.
Maybe try a different blade if your wanting to use a DE razor. There is a great excel sheet on here with ratings for different blades.

I started head shaving a few months ago & get a wonderful shave with a Karve. Not had a single cut or weepers.

I found I stopped getting nicks when I went from using a cartridge on my head to a DE. Obviously YM does V.
