Well that opened up a new case of paranoia, I hope I cleaned the old razors well.
I usually dishwasher them, then scrub with alcohol.
I'll get something better for the future, luckily I've stopped buying razors, cant remember the last one I bought.

a dish washer is of no use to clean or steralise any thing, it used to be advocated to do jam jars in there, but 1 they dont get hot enough and 2 what you are washing them with is soap and water, both of which dont steralise either

I never said to steralise, its great for getting crud off though.
