Do not ever use this with stainless steel razors, it's basically bleach.

It's also very handy at stripping off nickel plating too

I was quite excited when I heard of Milton. Low cost. Sterilises. Easy to get hold of. Perfect.
BUT if you read the small print, it is not recommended for use on metals as it is corrosive.
You will get away with it for a while, but in the long run, it will eat your razors. Even stainless steel ones.
Feel free to use it on your own razors, but NEVER on other people's razors unless they are made from glass.

That is heartbreaking!
Milton fluid will probably take quite a long time to cause this, but given enough time, eventually, it will.
