A great day for deliveries but a poor day for my bank balance!



A Creightons shop including T&H No. 10 cream along with some of their highly regarded own brand products. Their prices are really good even before you apply any discount codes.

I've also received some Musgo Real cream from Maguire's along with the Semogue 730HD Silvertip brush. They're selling the Musgo cream for under £9 which seems really good compared to other retailers.

The best of today's deliveries though is the antique fish knife kindly given to me by the very generous Russ (@RussellR5555 ) which will be used for decanting creams.

Just arrived, and shampooed - a Silvertip knot for my MÜHLE Edition1 handle. Have been using the Silvertip Fibre knot until now.
Looking forward to try it out tomorrow.

You are forgiven my son, no need for penance as I get a pack of Gillette Sensor blades every six months to fit my Headblade to keep my dome smooth (not a tonsure)

A bittersweet delivery today. Prep post shave cream, Treet Platinum blades, alum matchsticks and a Merkur 41C (1904 OC).

This delivery was from the Safety Razor Co. and was an absolute bargain in the clearance sale. Unfortunately that's because the business appears to be folding which is a real shame. All the best to the guys that work there and I hope things turn out alright for them.

The B&M Diamond smells very grassy like a real fresh clean cut grass does anybody owns this soap in there den and can you please smell your soap, does the scent smells grassy.... seriously Do I need to remind myself to mow the bloody lawn

A USA Gillette New. Without the box it's hard to say if it's a Red and Black Set, or a Bostonian. According to Mr. Razor's site, it seems to date from circa 1934. Right through to the copper on the cap and handle; but I love the patina. I don't see the need for polish, replating, etc. as it's going to be used and, as with all my cutters, it will be dried thoroughly after each use.
