Astra SP being rebranded?

I was bored at work the other day and ended up on badger and Blade (I'm not a member). I was in the DE blades section looking at a thread about Astra SP and someone said they're being renamed / rebranded soon. Does anyone know anything about this or heard any rumours?

Not sure which thread you have in mind, but was it this one?

I posted that up and it had this info from Executive Shaving

"Tiger Platinum double edge safety razor blades are made in the Czech Republic.
Astra blades are being withdrawn and replaced by Tiger Platinum blades. These blades are made in the same firm that produces Astra blades and is an improved version of Astra blades."

The Czech factory isn't owned by Gillette, and the new Tiger Platinum if it is a replacement to the Astra it is the old one made by the Czech factory, and not the Gillette one. The blades made by the Czech factory under the guise of Tiger aren't supposed to be very good, I think the suggestions have been they aren't blades for shaving but for usage by tailors and so on.

I've not come across anything to suggest the PPI/Gillette made Astra SP is being discontinued.
