Features 3 of my shots this year. Rumty tumty tumty tum... Feb, July and December I think.

Not shot in the Cotswolds!

Nice one Chris. I'm a bit of an Archers fan and was laughing at the Calendar: how can a RADIO drama have a VISUAL/GRAPHIC depiction??

Great photos, though. Nice work.

Hope Boab posts up some of the shots he took of my church . . . .
;)

Lovely photos Chris

I did a City and Guilds years ago and really enjoyed the landscape module. It put pressure on my marriage though. I remember seeing a glorious reflection on water in the Lake District. Managed to park the car 400 yards up the road. Ruth helped me back with all my gear. Set up my medium format on the tripod. Got the perfect composition. Searched for and found my cable release. All ready. Puff of wind. Gone! No photo.

That cost me a special meal that evening.

Yes. I remember a similar situation on Manorbier beach near Tenby. Lovely scene, however grumpy bored wife stormed off and was unfortunately in shot so I didn't take the picture. When it comes to hobbies (in my case dinghy sailing, reading, and photography) its best that wives weren't present. Send them shopping.

Cheers All,
All taken within 300yds of my front door. I used to think you had to travel to exotic locations to take 'proper' photographs but it seems there's something in the old adage about not crossing the river to fetch the water here.
