just got my sample in the post today, had a quick spray on the wrist and im liking it a lot from the start.

straight away it reminds me of tom fords tobacco vanille ( i had a sample years ago) but not as smothering. its quite sweet but not overly so, and its also reminding me of an attar i had a while back but i cant put my finger on it.

ill wear it around the house for a few days to make my mind up on it, but i feel i may be getting a full bottle :)
 
That certainly sounds really good! Personally, I can't abide TF which I find really cloying and so synthetic they're almost like capes or scented candles. Yak! Less so sounds bob-on, and from a house that I know I like.

yeah, tobacco vanille i couldnt get away with. the aramis is well worth checking out, im also getting a similar slightly musky vanilla in it as caron pour un homme, im figuring thats the tonka in it as there is no vanilla listed in it.

just noticed as well that boots and the perfume shop stock it so its easily accessible.
 
just ordered a full bottle today, got a 20% discount code for mankind so used that.

it was one of those things where once i used my sample up i really wanted more. im quite smitten with it, a very nice fragrance.
