April acquisitions

Late delivery from Parcel2go. They are sitting in the barbicide jar as I type. Should look nice after a clean up.
The Myatt daymark and a dinky vintage Schick have arrived.

That is it now for a while. I have 2 or 3 on my wishlist but they will have to wait.
RAD in remission, I hope.

Anyone know what model Schick it is, how old etc. Has PAT 1937 Stamped under head.

Mail called, the Emperor adjustable has landed today.

Received the Gillette Wild Rain and Power Rush aftershave splash, they are both very nice with clean and refreshing scent, both scents are similar to each other and without looking at the bottles/labels, it is very easy to tell that they are Gillette a/s splash. To my nose; these a/s are all based on a classic Gillette scent with different opening tones and after a while they all settle to the classic, clean Gillette a/s scent. Perhaps my memory is playing up but Wild Rain scent is not like I remember but that was long time ago. Conclusion; I am using Gillette Arctic ice, Cool wave and these two latest arrivals, scents are all on same line with different opening notes. They are all cooling and refreshing with clean, masculine scent, I like their post shave feel as they are all cooling so that they are more suitable for warm seasons. I would choose Gillette a/s over Nivea and L'Oreal without any doubt, also Gillette a/s lasts over 3 hours on my skin easy which is good.

I've picked up a few 'new' Schicks in the last week or so - a rare E5 - and a L1, I1 and N2 - I find this link useful for identification -

Cheers - I.
