... because I made a spare on the offchance that someone might. It's nowt special, but a damn sight better than those pitiful efforts that people actually buy. The recess is for a 8"x2"x3/4" stone, and will need some minimal fettling fettling to get the fit right - it'll suit various Arkansas, ceramic, Japanese and Thuringian stones amongst others. Free if anyone has a use for it.

I think someone is being rather modest that looks like a very competent piece of woodworking to me. I'd guess that you are rather handy with a rather handy with a router.

Shame I don't need one! Out of interest what wood is that?
