Any blades you won't buy again?

Recently i had a Astra SS which was totally dull. Fresh out of the box. First I thought it was the mild razor, but after putting it into the Progress and the progress blade (BiC ) into the other rauor things were clear. I have another 5er pack of these ASS, but yet not felt adventurous enough to give them a try....

I've used these and found them variable. Either very good with a balance of sharpness or smoothness or tuggy after a couple of shaves. May be worth trying another one.

I made the big mistake of putting a SuperMax Platinum in my X3. About 10 seconds was all it took to make me switch to my Rocel SE-50 to carry on. SuperMax blades manage to be both blunt and incredibly irritating.

They're hit and miss for me - in my Schick Krona it gives me an amazing shave 70% of the time, but the rest of the time I get what looks like an allergic reaction wherever I've shaved, so not worth it.

I really like the supermax titanium, but any blades that use platinum as a hardening agent have a bad effect on me. I've almost given up on stainless steel anyway, much prefer carbon steel blades.

Did you try Personna Platinum Chrome (a.k.a. IP / red Personna)? One of my 3 best blades ever!

If only that was true, unless you are just extremely lucky and all blades work for you, out of interest what is your blade of choice?

Normally I just randomly pick one from the box of samples but after reading this thread I did some sorting and found a five-pack SuperMax Platinum will take this blade for a spin tomorrow.
