Am i alone in my DE shaving monogamy

I have witnessed chaps shave with cartridges like they were scraping paint off a pine door and get great results, I just couldn't do that. The cartridge system probably works adequately for most.

I'm not going to enter into the DE vs cartridge debate, all I really want is to carry on using what I've always used. It's the cartridge market that bothers me, and whilst I'm more optimistic about the shavocalypse than some, it is a worry that cartridges are so heavily promoted, and DE blades are becoming something of a specialist item. As for monogamy, it seems like a good idea, as I was saying to the wife's sister in bed only this morning.
