Alternatives To Mitchell's Wool Fat

My first option for a MWF-type soap would be Haslinger Schafsmilch, which I find even better than MWF. Wilkinson stick is also nice, but not as good as Haslinger.
VieLong sticks are also nice - these are rebranded LEA sticks and also contain lanolin.

I've been using Haslinger sheep's milk all week. Really luxurious silky lather. I face lather and all Haslinger soaps are a treat for my skin. When you think the lather feels right, keep on working it and it will be transformed into something special.

I used this today and I find it produces a lather which isn't a million miles away from MWF. Maybe the post shave feel is a touch less moisturising than MWF which isn't always a bad thing, as my skin can tend to be a bit on the oily side of things.

Even though it doesn't contain lanolin I'd still recommend trying to find a stick, which might not be the easiest thing to do at this moment in time as the company's been bought by Proraso and production of Valobra is yet to recommence.

Never tried MWF, my brother in law loves it. Would love to give it whirl one day.

By the way I'm tempted to start selling hand bags on this forum.... There's many a discussion where I'm sure some have been worn out by lil tete-a-tete that I've seen ;):p:D

Ah me, for those now sadly long gone years, when a heated discussion would elicit cryptic comments from the Reverent Vinny (not Joe) regarding introducing cockwombles to "Mr. Cockpunch".

Some legends never pass from mind.
