Alternatives To Mitchell's Wool Fat

You don't work for Superdrug do you a you seem happy to promote items they retail?

Superdrug may still have the "Bespoke" Eau de Parum range in store. There are 4 flavours and it was buy 1 get one free (£5 each for 100ml) a few weeks back. They're all pretty pleasant esp the Citrus and Vetiver.

...some people like and get on with MWF, other's don't; if it ain't for you, it ain't for you; try Pre De Provence if you're looking for a vegetal base soap or Portus Cale if you don't mind a bit of lanolin....

Ok , that was in response to someone looking for affordable after shave. What I didn't do was post a new thread on it, in capital letters, telling all how it changed my life.
Can you see a difference? If it's too subtle I understand. I guess that's what makes it acceptable.

I really don't see why you're getting so upset over the fact that I have found a soap that I like in MWF. And wish to find other soaps that will give me a good shave and also be good for my skin.

You seem to be taking offence to it for some reason and it's coming across as rather pathetic now.

It's just sour grapes because he's not a chosen man :ROFLMAO: You've either got it or you haven't...

Thanks for all the recommendations guys, I've written them all down. And will try and pick up a few every now an again to try them. I had heard that Kent soap is made by MWF, is there some truth to that?

Alternatives to Mitchells Wool Fat!!! Frankly just about every soap I have ever tried, including cheap stuff, has beaten the pants of this highly overrated product. Just try a tub of Wickham Soap, it's in a different league altogether.
The only good thing to say about Mitchells is the nice porcelain dish, as for the soap it's crap!

Thanks for the recomendation. I have tried Wickhams in the past and didnt like the stuff, and the scent was too feminine for me.
When I said alternatives, I'm looking for soaps that are similar, lanolin in them. Not just every soap out there.

I do understand though like everything some people will like it, and some will love it. I fall under like. I actually find it just as easy to lather as every other soap I have tried. I did use Haslinger Schafmilch today, and I love that already, amazing soap.
