Aftershave in checked-in luggage ?

Can anyone advise what the situation is regarding carrying alcoholic aftershave in aircraft hold luggage within the EU, pls? i.e. is it allowed, and if so, is there a volume or % alcohol limit? Thanks.

Can't see why there would be a problem considering that you can carry duty free spirits - with a higher alcohol content.

Definitely allowed because you're allowed 100ml (in a clear plastic bag) in hand luggage, and as Rob says, you can carry duty free spirits in hold luggage.

I think you are free to carry splashes in the hand luggage Phil as long as it's not the Veg or Pashana original ...

I agree with all the above. Not an issue, but as I do with booze in my checked luggage, I place the bottle in a sealable plastic bag made for this purpose.

That's good news, thanks. The leakproof bags sound well worth having, will see if I can source some. Presumably the manufacturers accept that their product will be subject to minus something °C and 8000 ft but I'd feel better with some damage limitation.

Wise words, SZ, it would be a brave/foolhardy man who would risk an unconfined Veg breakage in close proximity to men with automatic weapons!

Spirits are allowed as they are sealed. I put my aftershave in a hard shoe never had an issue. I think it is not allowed though due to it being a potential explosive?

No limit for safety, but customs may restrict the import quantities.
