Advantages Of Soap Over Cream

I enjoy both soaps and creams. I have some creams that perform just as well as my top soaps. In fact, here's a list of my top 7 creams. I now have some Penhaligon's cream which may alter this list in the future:

ES Fuar Ach Snog
ES Citrus Kiss
T&H Ultimate Comfort
TOBS Eton College
Trumpers Spanish Leather
TOBS Sandalwood
Alvarez Gomez AdC Barberia

What do you think of the Executive Shaving creams? I was thinking of picking some up when I order the Outlaw (when it finally comes back into stock) but I'm usually a soap lover as well, so I'm a bit hesitant. I just love the sound of their fragrances, in fact the two you've listed were the ones that appealed most.

They're excellent quality. I've never tried the Natural although I wish to one day. I've also got the Bay Rum which is also a great performer and I like the scent - it doesn't quite make it in to my top 7 though. I can't see you not enjoying the Citrus Kiss and Fuar Ach Snog.

Thanks, I think I'll give them a try.

Surprised you haven't got a castle forbes on that list. i also have three of the Executive shaving creams and your right they are really up there although My personal favourite at the moment would be Fitjar Islands

I must confess to never having tried Castle Forbes or Fitjar, Mike. One of these days I will but need to make a dent in the den's stock first!

Both are class mate
don't get me wrong i do like Es products but castle forbes & fitjar are a couple of levels above.
i personally don't have to much in terms of soaps & creams, maybe half a dozen of both.
i don't want to get to a stage where i'm just buying for the sake of it. saying that iv got 4 Arianna Evans coming from the states

I seem to remember someone saying that many shavers use creams in winter, and soaps in colder months. There was some logic behind it, but it was 10 or so years ago I remember reading or hearing that.
