Adidas Trainers

For those who are old enough to remember Adidas Trimm Trab trainers, they were re-released last weekend.

As a council estate kid in my early teens around 1982/3, I couldn't afford them, no matter how many cars I washed or how much caddying I did at the posh golf club !

I ordered mine from the Adidas online shop on Sunday afternoon and they arrived on Monday.
From what I could see they're only available in blue/white and red/white.

My childhood Adidas were Kick's. Should they re-release them then I'll be all over a pair like @JohnnyO on dull boots!

The Kick trainers were comfy and quite hard wearing as I remember.
They were re-issued in 2012 for a short run in limited colour-ways.
80's Casuals & Classics might be worth a look once in a while in case they become available again.

I'm a samba man, they weigh nothing at all. When I put my work boots on its like tying barbells to my feet. :)

Samba are another favourite of mine too.
I have a few pairs in leather and in suede.

My most comfortable Adidas are the OP (one piece).
Made from one single piece of suede without any seams at all.
I have two pairs, one light blue and one burgundy.
They're getting pretty hard to buy new these days.

ive pretty much always been an adidas wearer and been wearing suede samba for a long time. ive had trimm trabbs in the past and loved them, a had a pair of adidas ilie nastase which were probably my favourites. back in the 80s my trainer of choice was adidas all black. id love a pair of those, id heard theyd reissued them a few years ago but i was totally unaware of it and missed the boat on them :(
