3one6 user experience

I ended up with this in both the aluminium and stainless versions. Neither have (fingers crossed) separated in the handles.

I find the stainless is the better shaver, probably due to the slight weight advantage. I don't find either especially rough, they shave well enough, but are bottom of the list in my 2019 acquisitions (Rex, Zeppelin, RR GC.84), and somehow fail to excite. This is a bit disappointing, as I've never before bought or used any EJ razors, and I was hoping for a bit more "je ne sais quoi" from quality UK-manufactured products.

However, with all that said, they score highly in the looks department, and the blue-handled model I have is one of the best-looking razors I own. If I feel the need to "pimp" one of my duller-looking razors, then the 3one6 handle is just the thing.

Hello all, I thought I'd give you an update on my 3ONE6 journey. I believe my last post was that I sold my all steel 3ONE6. Well, after reading a few other posts I bought another 3ONE6 but this time one of the aluminum handled versions. Wouldn't you know it but now the 3ONE6 gives me fantastic shaves and it is my daily driver! Could the change in weight have made that much difference? Who knows but it is now my favorite razor - in fact I bought another and now have two black aluminum 3ONE6's. Go figure.

Hi ike. Good to hear. I'm still a big fan of the 3one6. I have the stainless and aluminium handled versions. Like you, I think I prefer the aluminium one.
