I get a tin of baked beans, and add Schwarz BBQ seasoning. I save a fortune at KFC.

Barilla spaghetti with frozen store bought meatballs (they are actually delicious) and the highest rated spaghetti/marinara sauce on the Internet, Rao's Homemade. Side = three pcs. toasted bread with margarine/garlic powder. This Rao's sauce is simply orgasmic.

So i was gifted a box of chestnut wood, but need to test out flavours before i do full cooks with it. So bought a cheapy morrisons chicken and did a beer can (cider in this case) chicken and cooked it soley over the chestnut wood.
Came out pretty amazing. IMG_20210422_220012_769.jpgIMG_20210422_220012_790.jpgIMG_20210422_220012_823.jpg

OK not actually tonight, (tonight was Spanish prawns) but I have a friend who helps manage an estate and sometimes they have to control certain deer, especially the ones that have been injured or ousted. He had some Sika flank and silverside, so I tried my hand at venison steaks. Came out absolutely amazing. Seared and left to rest well. Gravy from the juices, garlic mushrooms, mash and 'Italian' carrots. Mrs keeps asking when I'm going to see him next...
